Fly control leads to improved hygiene

Fly control is a necessary measure, especially in relation to hygiene. These insects are more than just a pest, because they spread a number of unpleasant and sometimes dangerous diseases. Fitting window and door screens prevents them travelling into the home.

A popular product is fly-paper, which is coated with an extremely sticky substance which attracts the creatures then prevents them from flying away. Aerosol fly sprays are an alternative, and contain a strong insecticide which first debilitates them, then kills them.
