I’ve been thinking long and hard about summer holidays this year. Maybe it’s the result of the bitterly cold winter, but summer sun and beaches have been at the forefront of my mind more than most years.
This year, I think I’m going to treat the entire family to a holiday and what better place to do that than Florida. With the family being a little bit older than the last full holiday we took together, it’s important for me to get the balance of grown up pursuits and good old fashioned fun just right.

Finding holiday clothes for tall women
Going on holiday brings up a number of things to organise, and a holiday wardrobe is one of the must haves for a fun-filled trip. However, it can be a difficulty for many of us who are above average height. With tickets booked, sun cream and sunglasses already taken care of and the dreaded “jabs” from the doctor, I would usually then turn my attention to an even more dreaded activity - clothes shopping.
That’s because finding clothes for tall women used to be a hard task, but not any more. Thanks to the growth (no pun intended) of specialist shops catering for tall women, I can now enjoy the shopping expeience as much as my girl friends and look forward to trying my new wardrobe out on holiday.
